I saw a confirmed First Class ticket as F1,E
F1 is the coach number. But, what is that E means, is that a seat number or what..?
Also it would be great if someone can say how the FC coach layout would be...

Booked a ticket through counter for Rockfort Exp for September 9, 2013 from TPJ to TBM. I dont understand why it shows PQ even though IRCTC shows RLWL.
P.S. : checked in official pnr website too..

#sitesuggestion The availability checking using calendars is salient feature. But it have only arp30,arp90 and arp 120 but doesn't contains arp60 which has a good use as now.. it could be used to calculate the booking date for a specified date. Also, it will be good, if we have something like, choosing a date and click a button that shows the booking date...

yes.. but it shows with ref. to today's date only... Not any dates of our own choice

Bhai.. for example i m wanna book ticket for November 1 for going hometown due to diwali.. arp is exactly 60 days... if a date calculator is available then only i would knew i should book on September 2 morning itself.. so i could arrange accordingly... our websites current scenario could not help it..though many calculators are availed in net, i suggested why it shouldn't be available in our website.. since most of our guys deserve it.. :)

yeah.. ofcourse what you said is correct... we could check the availability from the opening date only.. no doubt on it.. butche i am speaking here about the arp dates nly... for calender buttons...

I commute through this station every month, which i feel worser to board the train every time. TBM is second largest station next to chennai egmore (MAS) for the trains going south TN.
But, it is lacking in facilities like Electronic coach position display(not even in 1/9 platform), Live dep./arr display inside the station. Which causes even a youngster like me to suffer to board the train.
If not atleast inc. the halt time from 1 to 2/3 min. that too sufficient for trains which leaving chennai.
