I'm having two tickets of 3AC in 22917 BDTS HW EXP. Date of journey is 10 December 2014 From BDTS to Roorkee. Tickets were booked on 28th November. The booking status was GNWL9/WL1 and GNWL8/WL2. The current status is also the same i.e. WL1 & WL2. Members kindly help out whether the waiting will clear or not. Waiting for your reply ASAP.

The metro and local will be more feasible for you.
You can reach kalyan from borivali in approx 60 to 70 minutes.
Going to dadar from borivali and then catching a local from dadar will be a bit difficult because of the peak rush on dadar station.

According to railways, the ARP for 22914 is 15 days prior excluding the date of journey, which means that booking ticket for the train departing on 15th dec will start on 30th November or 1st December. But even today, i.e. 4th December, when i tried to book a ticket for 15th december, the irctc ticket portal flashes a message that date is outside ARP period.
Can someone please help me out?

Thanks for your reply. Hope booking starts soon.
I think the railway authorities should be clear in their press release and give exact dates and ARPs of trains to avoid inconvenience to passangers.
One more question. The pricing of the premium tickets depend upon time days for journey or the number of tickets available?

If it depends on the number of days, and then if railways consider the ARP of 15 days, and booking starts only 10 days prior to the journey, then a passanger can end up paying more than what he had to pay before in the 15 day ARP

Will this train be running till January 8?
I'm planning a journey from ndls to bct on 22nd December. As there are no CNF seats in any other trains, I have to rely on this train. When I searched on IRCTC site for 22nd December, this train (22914) did not appear in the list.
Please reply ASAP.

Yes I'm aware of the 15 day ARP, but when I searched the ticket for journey on 15th dec on irctc, the train was shown in the list but it was outside ARP.
And when I searched for 22nd dec ticket, the train does not appear in the list.
In both cases the dates are outside 15 day ARP but for 15th dec journey the train is shown on irctc and for 22nd dec journey the train is not in the list.

Haven't travelled in tge train yet, but this is surely a Rajdhani. So comfort and seating would be like the other Rajdhanis.

Sitting near the window having a full view of bandra terminus, at 22.25 hours a new rajdhani train with lhb coaches (even non ac coaches were rajdhani liveried)
Arrived at bandra terminus. Does anyone know which train is that?????
Saw this for the first time!!!!!
