your ticket is conf. but u will get the berth at the time of charting, which is approx made 4 hr. before train time.

Need one advice. My Friend booked ticket from PNBE to NDLS in this train on Wednesday, 1A. 2 of his tickets got confirmed by the time chart was prepared, but third ticket remained in W/L1. He has filed TDR by 12:30 PM(train departure from PNBE is 10:50 AM) as all three passengers decided not to travel. I am unable to understand, as what will be the TDR process in this case? Anyone can advice.

6 hrs before departure to 2 hrs after departure Only Clerical Charges will be deducted.

dear sir on railway station reservation counter there is a system to feed the details before 8:00 AM and after Opening of Day Booking u can book ticket on single enter. on irctc u can book ticket in 2 step. if we open multiple windows of irctc in quick book option. there is also agent setting on small area of reservation counters. this information may not very true but i notice this in many trains.
