Vande Bharat Sleeper and Rajdhani/Duronto will have different fare structure. Mostly they will be fixed @ 1.4-1.5X of highest fare bracket of Rajdhani Duronto express. At present they are 16-18 Rajdhani and 16-18 Shatabdi 4 Tejas Sitting are running. Some of the Rajdhani rakes have been upgraded to Tejas and rajes of Tejas Sleeper and sitting have a max age of 5 years. Remaining Rajdhani should also be upgraded with Tejas rakes. Further all Tejas rakes should be moved to New Delhi and replace Bhopal, Lucknow, Kalka Ajmer Shatabdi. Already another spare Tejas rake is stationed in Delhi can be used as spare. With this move all Tejas trains will be Delhi or capital based which will be unique. Rest Shatabdi can be upgraded to VB sitting. Vande Metro fare should be decreased from present Rs 1.2 perkm to 1.0perkm after 200km and should have reserved accommodation 3ACC coaches with VB sitting chairs with fare of 1.15 X of present ACC base fare. Then for 350km section normal UR wil be Rs 370 from present Rs 440 and Reserved chair car Rs 610. Vande Bharat sitting trains which have less sectional occupancy of below 70% like BBS Vskp, Durg VSKP, Tatanagar BAM, Tatanagar Patna Via longer route, triweekly, Mangalore Madgaon, Jodhpur ADI, ADI Okha, Gorakpur Prayag, Chennai Vijayawada, Udaipur Jaipur/ Agra, Rewa, Merrut Lucknow ( operate in reverse direction) can be replaced with Vande Metro.
