UHigh time now that It should now get Tejas Rakes soon.ER should do something, work hard like ECR which is also not like as WR and it should get Tejas Rakes like Rajendra Nagar Patna Tejas Rajdhani Express though first Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express should get first which it did not get but Rajendra Nagar Patna Rajdhani Express got first.So Similarly Howrah Rajdhani and Sealdah Rajdhani should get Tejas Rakes like Mumbai Rajdhani Express and August Kranti Rajdhani Express

But Vande Bharat Sleeper will not replace completely all the Rajdhani Express as Rajdhani Express is a premium train service serving to our citizens of the country since decades.Similarly the Shatabdi Express will not be completely replaced by the normal Seater current Vande Bharat Express with the reason being the same.

You know, they actually can replace Rajdhanis alongwith introducing new VB sleepers on other important routes as mentioned. The thing is, once multiple VB rakes start running on a single section, other loco driven trains are gonna suffer. Take TVC Raj for an example, gets OTs by VBs twice on the journey. Even if IR won't upgrade the Rajdhanis, they would surely introduce new VBs on the same route (e.g. NDLS-MMCT, NDLS-HWH), making Rajdhanis the second priority then.

Vande Bharat Sleeper and Rajdhani/Duronto will have different fare structure. Mostly they will be fixed @ 1.4-1.5X of highest fare bracket of Rajdhani Duronto express. At present they are 16-18 Rajdhani and 16-18 Shatabdi 4 Tejas Sitting are running. Some of the Rajdhani rakes have been upgraded to Tejas and rajes of Tejas Sleeper and sitting have a max age of 5 years. Remaining Rajdhani should also be upgraded with Tejas rakes. Further all Tejas rakes should be moved to New Delhi and replace Bhopal, Lucknow, Kalka Ajmer Shatabdi. Already another spare Tejas rake is stationed in Delhi can be used as spare. With this move all Tejas trains will be Delhi or capital based which will be unique. Rest Shatabdi can be upgraded to VB sitting. The present Rajdhani and Shatabdi coaches are LhB coaches can be alloted to normal SF trains. Shatabdi ACC should be given to intercity...

express 3 coaches 2 added in place of GS reserved another spare. While EC coaches around 20 -25 in total can be used in high profile trains, Jan Shatabdi Shan e Punjab, Karnavati, Dhanbad Kolkata, Brindavan, Ratnachal,Vagai, Kovai with 1.4X of ACC base fare.

Duronto Humsafar can be clubbed into Humsafar with HS fare structure 50% base fare and 50% flexibility fare upto 1.5X with revised composition of 10 3AC, 3 2AC, 1AC 5/6SL PC and 2SLR.

All Antodaya and Jansadharan should be replaced with Amrit Bharat

Finally they will be
1. TEJAS Rajdhani and Tejas intercity with Delhi Base
2. Vande Bharat Sleeper and Intercity Sitting
3. Humsafar,
4. Amrit Bharat.
5. Intercity with reserved/Unreserved
6. JANshatbdi Reserved.
7. SF and Non SF express trains
8. Vande Metro.

Vande Metro fare should be decreased from present Rs 1.2 perkm to 1.0perkm after 200km and should have reserved accommodation 3ACC coaches with VB sitting chairs with fare of 1.15 X of present ACC base fare. Then for 350km section normal UR wil be Rs 370 from present Rs 440 and Reserved chair car Rs 610. Vande Bharat sitting trains which have less sectional occupancy of below 70% like BBS Vskp, Durg VSKP, Tatanagar BAM, Tatanagar Patna Via longer route, triweekly, Mangalore Madgaon, Jodhpur ADI, ADI Okha, Gorakpur Prayag, Chennai Vijayawada, Udaipur Jaipur/ Agra, Rewa, Merrut Lucknow ( operate in reverse direction) can be replaced with Vande Metro.

Considering the pink books of ECR & SER, somehow they are trying to prepare TT line as its alternative...

I thought if they could connect Talgaria and Dhanbad (at Kusunda ), they can use TT line in the most efficient way, and easily speedup the trains enroute at least by an hour

I tried to avoid that area around Kusunda, but that would be difficult to implement.
Is the area nearby Kusunda also affected ?? As far as I know, Katrasgarh - Sijua- Bansjora was affected.

DC Line is Dhanbad-Chandrapura Line. Operation was closed due to underground fore threat but due to political pressure, it was re-opened.

The trains are running with extremely high risk of accident and the speed limit is restricted with regular monitoring/controlling.

Traveled in this train on 26th October ,it was running late by 4 Hours and we were supposed to board from Varanasi Jn , i never knew we have platform 10/11 on Varanasi Junction it took me around 1 hour to actually find the platform lucky it was running late, Platform 10/11 is new platform being built on 4/5 after policeman instructed us we kept walking without lights for some time finally saw the train light and reached platform, it was very clean as it was new btw direction is called Lucknow End.
Railway employees took 2 hours to clean and fill the water we departed on 12:30 AM. It was pulled by WAG9 with ICF coaches.

really loved how comfortable ICF Coaches were with WAG9, it was running at 90KMPH and it was really amazing , with all the chain pulling on multiple locations it took around 5 Hours to reach Lucknow which was really good, it could have done in 4 hours but i was happy. attached some pics and Video of Rae Barely junction skip it was very nice around 3AM lot of fog very less traffic and just chill.

What is wrong with SER ? Why are they delaying this Train on a Regular basis ?
12863 is starting 3 Hours Late and reaching Bangalore 6 Hours Late. 12864 is starting 5 Hours Late from Bangalore and reaching HWH 7-8 Hours Late .
There is no Maintenance and no Proper Cleaning of the Train at SMVT . it just goes back as it is and travelling on delayed 12864 is really pathetic .

12863 should be starting on time because they are supposed to use the Rake which reached HWH on previous day at 8 pm . The Rake should have been standing at HWH 26 hours before so even if 12864 goes down Late it should not impact the start of 12863 .
Indian Railways is not bothered about any other train other than Vande Bharat . Situation is becoming pathetic .
