SWR when restarted 17311/12 VSG MAS exp. post covid they started it from UBL citing pitline constraints at VSG coz. 2nd pitline was under construction at VSG then I filed an RTI some months back if 2nd pitline at VSG is ready or not and reply was it was completed and commissioned then again this month I filed RTI with SWR regarding 17311/12 and they replied train is running till UBL for the reasons of ghat constraints, doubling works and maintenance constraints at VSG. If ghat constraints are such a big deal then how come they are exponentially increasing freight traffic here every year ?
And if their own RTI some months back say 2nd pitline at VSG is ready then what...

UBL MAS biweekly via GTL RU can be once a week run from VSG on Fridays from VSG dep. between 15.30 to 15.45 and UBL arrival around 21.15 and arrive MAS on Saturday as per current TT. In return could depart MAS on Saturday on same TT and arrive UBL around at 4.45 am depart at 5.00 am and arrive VSG around 11.30 am on Sunday.
They wont even require a new rake for it the rake of VSG VLNK exp idles in Goa from Thursday early morning till its departure from VSG on Monday at 9 am.

SWR not even ready to run weekly VSG MAS express so we should stop expecting a daily train here untill and unless CLR QLM doubling is done or some enormous political pressure is there.

I don't think both are related SWR Goa route is primarily seen as a freight route by RB too so that's a problem too.

Vasco Chennai express was the most perfect train for Dudhsagar waterfalls view as both ways it had pretty convenient timings but SWR ran it as UBL MAS express coz of 2nd pitline construction at Vasco now even after commissioning of 2nd pitline they are yet to restore it. SWR also running Vistadome coach on Shiradi Ghat but not here as here exclusive focus is on freight trains.
