I was 4 years old at that time.
I was 30km far from accident site but my chachi's home is just 1km from accident site.
It was happened 2km after Firozabad rly station.
A buffelo was hit by kalindi express result Kalindi express loco got failure.

It was happened at 02:40 am.
My Chavhi was sleeping at home and suddenely a lowd sound break the sleep of all villagers(Rupaspur). My chachi's family members again got slept but at 4 am there was a nois generated in village..............ACCIDENT HO GAYA DO RELO KA,

Ambulance started picking up injurd pax around 5am.
normaly injured pax was admitted in SN hospital Firozabad and baly injured pax was reffered to Medical college agra.
One more thing i wanna share that after collision controllers also given green signal to down trains but by the awareness of SM of Hirangaon , third train avoided to collpse bcoz he shut downed the...

govt statics told that 400 dead and 300 imjured but in reality around 2000 pax dead bcoz that statics does not contained the UR cpaches but 6 UR coaches of kalindi and 3 coaches of purushottam got affected.
Really Sad Incident. A total human error as you said it could have been avoided if the guards and LPs of Kalindi exp had informed about the loco failure to the controllers. But thanks to the SM of Hirangaon who avoided the third collision.

But anyways Railways should upgrade the SF standards to atleast 60kph average speed now in addition SF trains should also have the criteria that no halts allowed within a certain distance.
This can be a good news. But what main thing is that, the order of recategorization of 12801 should be cancelled. It deserves to run as SF only.
Now I understood that Renumbering will not happen. And this train will continue as it was. Thats the good news. 👍. Thank God.

Massively slowed down in HIJ-BKSC part of the journey. HIJ to BKSC is 289.5 kms, Purushottam average speed 45 kph from 1/7/24. HIJ to BKSC will now take 6 hrs 25 mins!!

Ye kaha dekh liya? 10-15 years aage aisa schedule hota tha. Why would they even degrade the current schedule which is absolutely fine.

1.Train no of 12801/02 Purushottam Superfast Express will be changed to 18401/18402 W.E.F 01.07.24
2.Train no. of 12892/91 PURI - BGY will be changed to 18404/18403 W.E.F 01.07.24.

agar SF charges hata rahe hain aur avg speed same hi rahegi to pax point of view se achha hi hai fare kam ho jayega. problem kya hai,?
