Like I said before, reason is unknown. One thing I observed is,
only 4UR+2Slr coaches are there in Chemmozhi, so coimbatore passengers have to pay sleeper fare for such short travel. So, they might've planned this as a seperate train and it works anyway.

If that's the case even some sleeper coach can be announced dereserved between CBE and POY i guess like it exists in trains like MAQ - MS.
That's exactly how it works now. All sleeper coaches function as unreserved for this CBE-POY-CBE journey
I did not mean as a seperate train. If it was extended as such to pollachi, easily S6 - S12 can be dereserved, could have added to 10 UR. + Anyways same fare for the special and express in UR.
To all the blogs posts there will be no TTE after coimbatore even it's extended and chart is prepared at coimbatore though train will run from Pollachi. By running as spl people from Trichy or other areas cannot travel directly to Pollachi or vice versa as they need separate ticket and it has to be taken in counter at coimbatore. UTS app doesn't work in station premises and will work 300m away from station.
