While the fourth line was opened by 10:30 pm, traffic on the remaining three lines remains disrupted. The incident occurred around 7:54 pm when the train, designated as STPB, was traveling from Jharkhand to the Suratgarh thermal plant. The derailment caused damage to the overhead lines and support structures on all three affected tracks. The railway department has started clearing the derailed wagons to restore service. While one goods train was allowed to cross the fourth line around 10:30 pm, followed by the Shatabdi Express, rail traffic on the other three lines remains suspended. The Railway Department is investigating the cause of the accident.

August 25th and 28th. Train 14212/14211 (New Delhi-Agra Cantt-New Delhi Intercity Express) will run to Gwalior from August 25th to 28th and from Gwalior to New Delhi from August 26th to 29th. Additionally, a special train will operate between Agra Cantt and Mathura from August 25th to 28th. The Itawa-Agra Cantt MEMU train will also be extended to Mathura Junction, and the Agra Cantt-Viraangna Lakshmibai Jhansi MEMU train will operate from Mathura.
