train number 02564 New Delhi-Barouni will run via Prayagraj from October 13 to 26 on a revised route. Train numbers 02569-70 Darbhanga-New Delhi will run via Prayagraj from October 14 to 27, skipping Siwan, Gorakhpur, and Basti. Train numbers 15707-08 Katihar-Amritsar will also run via Prayagraj. The route of train number 18206 Nautanwa-Durg has also been changed. Train number 22550 Prayagraj-Gorakhpur will depart Prayagraj 150 minutes late on October 27. Additionally, parts of the Hyderabad-Gorakhpur, Vadodara-Gorakhpur, and Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Gorakhpur trains have been canceled.

The affected trains include the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Intercity, Gorakhpur-Ashbag Intercity, and several other long-distance trains. Some trains will be diverted via Gorakhpur-Bhadhani-Gonda and others will be diverted via Chhapra-Audahihar-Varanasi-Jaunpur-Shahganj-Ayodhya Cantt-Barabanki. On Friday, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) conducted a security check at Devaria Sadar Railway Station in anticipation of the Dussehra festival.
