Despite a daily footfall of 1500-1600 passengers, the absence of halts for several important long-distance trains causes inconvenience to travelers, particularly pilgrims arriving from various cities across India. Poddar suggested that three pairs of major trains headed to Rajasthan, namely 12323/12324 Howrah-Barmer-Howrah Express, 12371/12372 Howrah-Bikaner-Howrah Express, and 12496/12495 Kolkata-Bikaner-Kolkata Pratap Express, be stopped at Parasnath station to alleviate the issue. He believes that halting these trains at Parasnath will significantly benefit Jain pilgrims from across the country by making their journey to the spiritual site of Shri Sammed Shikharji Madhuban more convenient.

The 18609 Ranchi-Lokmanya Tilak Express, which travels via Gomoh Station, was originally scheduled to run via Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay-Mirzapur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur until July 24. The route has been extended, and the train will now follow this revised path until August 14, with an additional stop at Prayagraj Chheoki Station. Similarly, the 18610 Lokmanya Tilak-Ranchi Express, originally scheduled to run via Manikpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Mirzapur-Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay until July 19, will now follow the same route until August 9, with an additional stop at Prayagraj Chheoki Station. The 12816 Anand Vihar-Puri Express, initially scheduled to operate via Kanpur-Lucknow-Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay until July 25, will now run on this modified route until August 15.
