Other trains, including the South Bihar Express (13287), the Rishikesh Puri Utkal Express (18478), and the Rourkela Howrah Vande Bharat Express (20872), experienced delays ranging from 35 minutes to 2 hours. On the up-line, Train 22862, the Ara Durg South Bihar Express, was delayed by 6 hours, and Train 12871, the Howrah Titlagarh Ispat Express, arrived at 3:20 PM instead of its scheduled 11:20 AM arrival. Train No. 12871 (Howrah Titlagarh Isapat Express) arrived at 3:20 PM instead of 11:20 AM. The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) is holding daily meetings to address the issue, which is attributed to ongoing track maintenance activities. The DRM is also holding meetings on Saturdays and Sundays to address the problem, and they expect improvements soon.

Separately, the electrification of the railway line between Khandwa and Amlakhurd is set to begin soon, following approval during a meeting between South Central Railway Zone's General Manager Anil Kumar Jain and regional MPs at the Nanded Rail Division office. The meeting addressed concerns raised by Khandwa MP Gyaneshwar Patil regarding the delay in electrification of the Khandwa-Amlakhurd line.
