Based on the information obtained through an RTI request, it has been revealed that the Railway Board does not currently have a proposal to regularize Train No. 07377/78 Vijayapura-Mangaluru Junction Express Special. This news may be disappointing for those who use and value this train service. Despite the South Western Railway (SWR) sending a proposal to regularize this train and highlighting its strong patronage, the Railway Board has not expressed any interest in making it a regular service.

It gets UBL locos occasionally now. Mostly it has LSA with some other trains. KJM locos come with other train till BJP and it is linked with this train.
