Always have seen this ! They will restore with same timing again lol.

I hope the time change is in such a way it leaves SC at morning 06:30 AM and arrive TVC at 11:00 AM and return can be from TVC at 15:30 PM and arrive in SC at 20:00 PM with PM at SC by removing RSA with padmavati

Today's 12864 is rescheduled to leave SMVT at 19:15 (20mins before the pre-covid departure time)

I wonder what has suddenly gone wrong with incoming 12863 which is getting regularly delayed from last couple of weeks & in turn 12864 is getting inevitably delayed. 12863 departing late from HWH as well. It's not that the same 12864 rake is sent as 12863. They do have spare rakes.

The rake stands in HWH for 26 hrs no RSA yet it is being rescheduled by HWH. The reason is the rake being used for another train from HWH and incoming rake of that train is put in as 12863.

All these r happening just to give passengers to private airlines intentionally.
If you remember 1st these kind of train delays started in HWH-NDLS route few yrs back when almost all trains used to run delay in the route. Passengers slowly shifted from trains to flights. Now see the number of flights and passengers in Kolkata to delhi route. Huge increase. Earlier ER used to run Puja spl , Summer spl trains from HWH/SDAH to Delhi. Now u don't see because pgrs shifted to flights.
Next it startd in HWH to Mumbai/Pune route,...

and delays of trains in this route is continuing from last almost 2 yrs. Already huge nos of pgrs shifted from trains to flights due to delays of trains and Mumbai/Pune Duronto runs empty in end to end traveller. Just do an RTI to find out the increase in number of flightsfloghts and pgrs in Kolkata to Mumbai and Pune route and you will see.
Now it is the turn of Howrah to Chennai and Bengaluru routes. Delays started and in next 5 yrs you will see the khela.
All these r done to make IR in loss and SELL.
Who knows frequent train accidents r also done to incur more loss to IR as damage of assets and property and proove poor service of IR. Thats why after repeated accidents RM is kept intact.
Also after repeated delay train complaints no action taken and RmM sits quiet and calm in chair.
Delays of trains, mission slowest, dirty train toilets, etc r all done i think is intentionally so that public get fedup of poor services and repeated complaints but no one listening to , then oneday this govt will Sell IR to Private fully and say to increase comfort, punctuality, cleaniness, etc privatiosation is best and required and eill sell IR. Godi media prachar.
Public will say haan ab IR behtar hoga...aur private company will loot you just like Airline prices increasing now and govt have no control on it.
We r moving in that direction and goal.

But 12863/12864 has dedicated rakes. I wonder what these guys are smoking at SER nowadays.

This train departing late and reaching late and then the return meets the same fate minus cleaning and maintenance.

Reservation suspended for the train after Oct 2nd. All RSA trains reservation are also suspended. Likely to see some changes in TT but since RSA reservation is also suspended, its likely to still have RSA after LHBfication. Will the departure change to morning 06 AM from Charlapalli ? Have to wait and watch.....

One thing is for sure. SR is lazy and waste zone. Especially MAS and TVC , they don't want to maintain no train but keep their zones lol and I say this as SR railfan lol

Tirunelveli was never a part of TVC division, though.

Southern Kerala was a part of the MDU division and Trivandrum was the final terminus on the TSI-QLN-TVC MG line.

out of MDU division after the QLN-ERS lines were laid and TVC-NCJ-TEN lines were added that allowed it to have the sufficient track length for a new division.

The TEN-CAPE line was laid in BG while other lines to Tirunelveli were still MG.

PGT and TVC divisions comprised of completely BG lines. The TSI-QLN MG lines were retained by MDU division and the same arrangement persists to date.

Oh got it, I thought earlier TEN station used to be with TVC div and they moved away , Either way , Kanyakumari, NCJ, NCT all needs to go with MDU division.

Earlier CBE, MTP used to be PGT Div and now I am glad it got moved out of PGT and with SA div or CBE would have been a dumping yard station like CAPE.

CAPE being the final railhead is bound to be dumped with trains from above anyway, on the flipside it will not lose trains through extensions.

Problem was the choice of trains from Kerala's side. CAPE would not be complaining if Netravati or Mangala Lakshadweep were extended from Kerala's side instead of Island, Jayanti Janata, Gurudev, Vivek all of which go east of Shoranur when a shorter route by almost 200 km between Nagercoil and Salem exists.

Sabari was also once proposed to be extended to CAPE, but rescinded after opposition.

Presently only Parasuram is the daily train running west of SRR from NCJ.

SR seems unable to build additional coaching depots in Kerala (apart from Kochuveli) to handle additional trains, so invariably NCJ, MAQ, TEN, CBE all have to compensate some way or the other, no matter which division they fall under.

For CAPE, the situation looks better after NJT bypass, double lines and additional platforms coming up at NCJ. Operation issues will come down and TVC division will hopefully start to receive more trains from Tamil Nadu.

TVC-NJT-TEN line is not a logistical nightmare like POY or MAQ which are sandwiched between 3 divisions/zones.
