Yes it is bound to fall as a result of surge pricing mischievously coined flexi fare. Almost all short distance passengers who used to utilize the services of the Shatabdi are going by Volvo, deluxe, super deluxe AC buses. Moreover Spicejet, Air Asia, Air India are offering very good schemes. In a market driven economy this is bound to happen. Who will pay 50% above the regular fare for journey in trains which lack punctuality, cleanliness, good catering facilities.
