Some specialities of NCR which are really great:
(1)130kmph speed potential tracks as % of total tracks is highest for NCR amongst all zones
(2) NDLS-MGS & NDLS-JHS-BINA, are lifeline of NCR, which are also among top few sections of IR
(3) Riding on the tremendous passenger as well as freight traffic on above 2 vital sections NCR almost always give revenue surplus to...

(4) This zone should be most profitable zone of IR without any significant originating freight loading/unloading. In other words this zone carries maximum through traffic i.e. traffic received at one end of NCR and handed over to other zone after traversing NCR territory.
(5) Maximum train kms of Prestigious Rajdhani trains at 130kmph is in NCR.
