* ST never gets the facilities it deserves in spite of being 8th largest city and 9th largest urban agglomeration of India, just because it is not a rly HQ and IR take little interest in creating adequate terminal facilities, developing the station and originating new trains at ST. The problem is going to increase in future as ST is the fastest growing metro.
* The work of upgrading ST station to international standards should be taken on war footing and adequate terminal facilites should be provided, so that a large number of trains can originate from ST to especially to facilitate the large number of migrant population from UP, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Orissa, Rajasthan etc residing at ST.
