The lack of maintenance has left these essential facilities unusable, causing significant difficulty for patients returning from or traveling for treatment, as well as elderly and women passengers.

Jisse logon mein dinon din narazgi badhti ja rahi hai. Rourkela Railway Station Chakradharpur Rail Mandal ka ek mahatvpurn station hai aur is station se prati din bees hazaar yaatriyon ki aavajahi hoti hai. Is station ke platform sankhya ek se do teen par jaane ke liye lift aur escalator lagaya gaya hai. Saath hi platform sankhya do-teen par bhi lift aur escalator lagaya gaya hai. Saath hi platform sankhya chaar aur panch bhi lift aur escalator lagaya gaya hai. Lekin sabhi escalator aur lift rakhrakhab ke abhav mein kharab pade hain. Jis karan bahar se ilaaj kara kar train se lautne ya fir train se ilaaj karane ke liye bahar jaane waale marees, train mein aane jaane waale bujurg aur mahilaon ko kaafi pareshaniyon ka samna karna pad raha hai. Yaatri KK Patra ki maane toh pichhle kai mahon se sabhi kharab pade hue hain. Jiski unhone kai baar moukhik roop se station prabandhak ko shikayat bhi ki hai. Lekin iske baad bhi abtak shuru nahin ki gayi hai. Jisse logon mein narajagi dekhi ja rahi hai.
