more... The Samdadia Group plans to construct a commercial complex and villas on the land. The Jabalpur Municipal Corporation had previously expressed interest in acquiring the land for a multiplex, parking, and public utilities, but the deal fell through due to disagreements over the lease price. The RLDA had put the land up for tender, which was won by the Samdadia Group. The railway department is also constructing quarters for officials on a portion of the remaining 24 acres of land at the Howbagh station. The railway department is looking to lease out more of its unused land for commercial purposes, including the land between Howbagh station and Gwari Ghat.
