The operationalization of Gorakhpur Cantt is expected to alleviate congestion at Gorakhpur Junction, improve local train punctuality, and reduce delays for other express trains. Two passenger trains will initially operate from Gorakhpur Cantt: 05096 Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj at 7:10 AM and 05098 Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj at 11:00 PM.
