Works are to be taken up at Mettupalayam railway station to increase the platform length to hold 24 coaches and to modify the Foot Over Bridge...

So is this a indication that will see the end of Slip service and entire rake moving to MTP once the PF is on place to accommodate 24 coaches??

Also keeping future prospects better they extend the PF length further so that 26 coach rake can be accommodated.
