The Indore railway station is undergoing a 475 crore rupee renovation to accommodate the increased traffic expected from these projects. The proposed Indore-Dahod, Indore-Khandwa, and Indore-Manmad rail projects are especially significant for local industries, as they will create a dedicated freight corridor for transporting goods efficiently and safely to destinations across India and internationally. These projects are expected to significantly reduce transportation costs and time for the over 1000 industries operating in Indore and the surrounding area. Once completed, these projects will also provide Indore with multiple routes to Maharashtra, including connections via Khandwa, Manmad, and a direct route via Dhar and Jhabua to Gujarat. The Indore-Budhni line will offer an additional route to North India via Jabalpur and Rewa. The projects are progressing at a fast pace, with the Indore-Dahod line's earthwork already underway, the Indore-Budhni line progressing on bridge and culvert construction, and the Indore-Mahu-Khandwa broad gauge line beginning construction between Mahu and Sanvad. The Indore-Manmad project has submitted a detailed project report (DPR) to the Railway Ministry for approval, and the Indore-Fatehabad-Ratlam doubling project is currently in the DPR development stage. These projects are expected to significantly boost industrial growth and economic activity in Indore and the surrounding region.

Kumedhi mein ek new, bada railway station banane ka plan hai, taaki trains ki badhti hui number ko manage kiya ja sake. Lakshmibai Nagar station se goods storage ko shift karne ka bhi suggestion hai, taaki extra platforms banaye ja sake, aur Rajendra Nagar station ko station return trains chalaane ke liye use kiya ja sake, taaki main station par crowd kam ho.

Running express of every station will reduce its importance
In case of Indore LMNR & INDB be terminal and DADN be a far terminal and all trains from DADN including express & superfast must be given halt at Rajendra Nagar and should not stop at Indore main junction, it will reduce congestion
