The Godda-Delhi-Godda Express train has been given a 2-minute stop at Dhanwar station for the convenience of passengers. The stop was inaugurated by Pawan Saw, a representative of the Minister of Women and Child Development, Annapurnna Devi. The halt, inaugurated on January 24th, was meant to improve connectivity with the Jharkhanddham temple and provide basic amenities. However, construction work, despite receiving 16 lakh rupees in funding, is allegedly riddled with irregularities and poor quality materials. The lack of basic amenities like a proper platform and drainage is causing inconvenience to passengers. Following reports of the issues, the Railway Inspector has promised to address the situation and ensure ticket availability for passengers.

But construction work, 16 lakh rupees milne ke baad bhi, bahut irregular hai aur materials bhi kharab quality ke hain. Basic amenities jaise platform aur drainage bhi properly nahi banaye gaye hain. aur aur bhi facilities banaane ka kaam tha, lekin woh kaam sahi se nahi hua hai. Passenger complain kar rahe hain ki construction kaam mein ghalat kaam ho raha hai aur quality bhi achcha nahi hai. Railways ne yeh bataya hai ki woh jaldi hi ticket ki availability arrange kar denge.

22 lakh rupees was allocated for the development of essential infrastructure at the halt. However, local residents claim that the quality of the platform and drainage construction is substandard. They allege that there is insufficient cement and the quality of the gravel and boulders used is poor. The Jharkhand Dham Halt Construction Struggle Committee, led by Govind Mandal and Pansas Munshi Verma, have vowed to ensure the quality of the work is not compromised. Annpurna Devi, the local MP, contributed 6 lakh rupees from her MP funds towards the project, while the Railway Ministry allocated 16 lakh rupees.
