electric line at Mudaria had been scheduled, but was suddenly postponed. However, the line was not reactivated despite the postponement of the maintenance work. Meanwhile, an engine entered the non-electrified line, resulting in the overhead line breaking. The accident occurred around midnight, halting all train movement for seven hours. Temporary single-line to double-line operations were initiated after 7:00 am. Several trains were canceled, including the Chirmiri-Chandia Road-Chirmiri Passenger and Bilaspur-Katni-Bilaspur MEMU trains. Other trains were delayed, causing inconvenience to passengers.

mein overhead electric line ke maintenance ke liye block liya gaya tha, lekin kisi karan se maintenance kaam ko achanak postpone kar diya gaya. Iske saath block bhi postpone ho gaya, par doosri taraf se line start nahin ki gayi. Jabki traffic start kar diya gaya tha. Issi beech mein ek engine band line mein ghus gaya, jisse overhead line tut gayi. Is incident ki wajah se trains ka aana-jana pura tarah se band ho gaya. Yeh accident raat 12 baje ke aas-paas hua. Uske baad se subah 7 baje tak koi bhi train ek direction se doosre direction mein nahin ja payi. 7 baje ke baad temporary working single line to double line shuru ki gayi. Is problem se bahut saari trains ko cancel karna pada. In trains mein Chirmiri-Chandia Road-Chirmiri Passenger aur Bilaspur-Katni-Bilaspur MEMU train shamil hain. Iske alawa bahut saari trains bahut der tak Umaria aur Shahdol railway stations pe khadi rahi, jisse passengers ko pareshani hui.
