The passengers travel in this train often seem to complain about lack of breakfast option in this train. Previously it use to halt at pf 3 or 4 of MB, now the stoppage has been shifted to pf1 which have many breakfast options, among them "Express Food Court" is best, it is situated near the front FOB one can get sandwich, Paratha, Omelette, cutlet, bhatura, samsoa, Paties and other cooked food item at that food court at a very reasonable price.
Usually the vendors also sell the breakfast in all pf 1
Useful tip but God Forbidden if this train doesn't get Pl 1 at MB due to some other train occupying it then we go back to Square 1 :)
In case you need to urgently access an ATM and you're passing through MB, your problem is solved is right there, just do not panic. Most trains half at MB for at least 8-10 minutes. That time is more than enough, just be quick.
1) Get down.
2) Climb the FOB and come to PF#01 in case your train isn't berthed at PF#01. Take the MAIN EXIT, NOT the FOB exit, NOT the other exit. (The main exit is near the enquiry counter).
The most useful tip, atleast for me. ;)
>>Many Restaurants and dhabas are there at the exit of gate.
>> Maheshwari Restaurant is the best among all, It provides testy and cheap food (in comparison to its taste)
>>Many Good and cheap Hotels are situated near the Railway Station (Walking Distance)
>>You will find some restaurant open 24x7.
Sethi bhojnalay is also a good option at Moradabad station.
Yes, but maheshwari is best.
Agree Maheshwari is the best one of the lot.
I ate 2-3 times there. Food was very delicious. Loved the Spl. Paneer Handi.
In case one wants to travel from LKO/LJN to Delhi by day time, and does not want to travel in Shatabdi fare, this is next best option. Take UR/Current Res tkt from LJN and travel till MB. From MB, there are lot of UPSRTC buses avbl just outside the RS. So lil tough, but once my W/L in 12003 cd not clear ,and had to reach DLI early morning, this option was used. Also, one can enjoy dinner at MB just outside RS too...
That's right, but just the traveller will reach Delhi not before 1 or 2AM. :)
Another option is to continue till Hapur and take a bus there onwards, frequent buses to Delhi from Hapur via Noida are available, Noida residents especially can reach by around midnight using this.
thats right, the buses will alight the pax at ANVT ISBT only and then DTC buses can take u further, but it will be past midnight that pax will be able to reach delhi...and UPSRTC buses halt for dinner break too..
ABt Hapur, maybe the bus terminus is not near to RS, or buses take bypass route and does not enter main city...
Yes the buses from MB would surely by-pass HPU but there are dedicated bus services from HPU. Moving some 20 odd kms from there, lands you in NCR.
Bus stand is not far away, you get shared auto during day time (not sure about 10 PM, but it's close by so if not shared, other means will be available). Buses operate till late night.
