The line is nearing it's completion, only some streches especially Kamarpukur and Joyrambati are yet to be connected....
The delay in completion is mostly due to a overhead bridge construction near Kamarpukur which has raised some land disputes between the officials and the locals.....

Yes . Land acquisition was problem. Got cleared couple of days by Kolkata high court . Work should speed up now.
