Intresting!! Now SL coaches changed from 9ICF to 8LHB (8 berths diff) and they are doing these modifications.. I Wonder what they will do from 23/12 as they are only 6LHB SL coaches

sunilgaonkar 92 blog postsThe frequency of 16317/18 should be increased by one more day from CAPE to SVDK via MAO to serve as a direct connection between the two cities through shortest route. The popularity of this new route will eliminate the existing longer route.
Isn't the former route longer than Konkan why keep a train dragging when alternative exists.
well I don't think Sr will start navyug again, political pressure may work
shorter route is avbl for kerala via konkan but beyond Coimbatore, shorter one is the route which Himsagar is taking. Not every train is meant for End to end passengers. Some serve intermediate ones too.
