TT is ok upto TPJ and also good upto TPJ from CBE in the return as well. But, as a whole, from CBE- Melmaruathur/Chengalpattu pax are forced to waste both half day and half night which is not preferrable. Rather people will hire a bus (while in a group) and travel comfortably rather than train.
Further, really worried about Tambaram terminus which is not yet materialized. If this could have been done by this time, many trains like this could have halted there, thus by serving Coimbatore region people to have access to Tambaram side of Chennai easily. Whereas, at present all people need to go upto Chennai central and then travel to Tambaram areas.

i agree to ur view. i also saying it should be routed via MV. the time taken for TPJ VM is far greater than any VRI bound usual trains. off course pallavan overtake u can expect in one direction.
hope in future it goes till TBM or RPM.

s but return TT has pallavan overtake. this tt is extremely good in CBE TPJ stretch but if routed via MV means 5 am at CGL which is very good
