I simply wanted to know, why this 2nd VB started for same route?
Why this VB was not routed via GNT? Even those people also deserve this train. 2 trains on absolutely same route is not good enough. Same goes for BSB VB as well.

Already Tirupati VB is running to Guntur with morning departure both of them will clash in return. So routed via Warangal. There is traffic and being 8 coach the train is always full from the past 4 months.
Well this is the nice justification and the old vskp vb wouldn't be re-routed. As it was proposed first on the same route.
The first Vande Bharat was originally planned by SCR to run from SC to VJA via WL as it's 130kmph FEDL and then extend to Tirupati or Vskp after 130kmph. RS MP of BJP from Vizag intrest has lobbied to make VJA Vskp 130kmph certified and in last minute alloted to ECOR to run from Vskp to SC. So SCR zonal authorities instead of operating the second VB to another destination they are more inclined to run reverse VB to Vskp and to ot some external political forced to pressed it after Kasargod TVM, Varanasi got reverse VB.
Whatever the reason, both VBs doing extremely well with occupancy unlike other VBs struggling to get occupancies. I learnt that there are some rumors even SCR are interested to run VB sleeper between SC and VSKP

At Visakhapatnam Secunderabad VB and Howrah Chennai mail given arrival time is 1350 but VB is arriving before time at 1335-1350 before mail and to Secunderabad 5-15 mins early.

Eenadu news paper article with the title " VandeBharat troubles for Konark " 😀 It says, to let VB go all other trains are being stopped for hours. On friday 11019 Konark was stopped at Chintalpally to let VB overtake and meanwhile other express (i guess Secunderabad Shalimar Weekly SF) too overtook it causing more delay. This has become a daily scenario. It is impacting the job holders who work in Mahabubabad, Khammam and other places. They complained, since introduction of VB the timings of Konark got messed up.

Return left at 1500 within 25mins and now running late by 30mins.
The fare from Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam is Rs 1185 as catering charge is Rs 364 breakfast and lunch is provided . As it's 910 dep you will have Breakfast at home and arrives by 1345 lunch can be done in Vizag. Most of the travellers are locals as per my observation when I pickuped my brother for night arrival at Vskp as many personal cabs and 2 wheelers came to pickup. By selecting no food option the ticket fare will Rs 820 which 50% more than normal ACC.
