I think Jodhpur missed this train because of non doubling, non electrification of some part of route. Extension to Jodhpur would have made much more sense as compared to Ajmer since Ajmer already has very good connectivity to Delhi via shatabdi, however this is not the case for Jodhpur. This would have also reduced the lieover time of this premium rake. Hence reduction in revenue per hour.

Fair point actually..... who knows? In the near future, once all the doubling and electrification work is completed, they may release a VB from maybe New Delhi or Gandhidham or Ahmedabad (Gandhinagar Capital optional) or any other place.... let's see what's gonna happen.....🤔👍
