This tip is in reference with my travel from KGP to SHM:
Cleanliness: Surprisingly, my compartment was really clean. I hoped for the worst but I was surprised. Trust me, I have seen express trains which have poor cleanliness than this train. Can't say about the bathroom though as I did not use it.

more... From KGP to SRC, there is not a single stop and so you probably won't find any vendors in the train. If you want food, your best bet would be to buy from KGP.
Speed: Amazing speed between KGP and SRC. Travelling at an average of 95 kmph.
Punctuality: This train is punctual. It was delayed by 15 mins at KGP but made it up handsomely. It may stop at Andul for quite some time however due to non availability of platform at SRC but other than that, it maintains it's timings
Crowd: The train was almost empty at KGP. I was able to stretch my legs and travel comfortably. Can't say about the crowd from Adra to KGP though but from KGP, you will have a comfortable journey.
Security: As with any other train, I would suggest you keep a good eye on your belongings.

Khana: KGP se SRC tak koi bhi rook nahin hai, toh train mein koi vendors nahi milenge shayad. Agar khana chahiye toh teri sabse achhi option KGP se kharid lena.
Raftar: KGP aur SRC ke beech mein raftar behad jabardast thi. Average 95 kmph pe safar kar rahi thi.
Samay Ka Itbaar: Ye train samay par chalti hai. KGP pe 15 minute der se khuli par usne handsomely age badhadi. Shayad Andul pe kuch samay ke liye rukti ho, kyunki SRC pe platform available nahi hota hai, par wahi alawa, isski timiings ka khayal rakhti hai.
Bheed: KGP pe train almost khali thi. Main apne pair faila rahi thi aur comfortable tarike se safar kar rahi thi. Adra se KGP tak ki bheed ke baare mein kuch nahi keh sakti, lekin KGP se tumhara safar comfortable hoga.
Suraksha: Jaisa ki kisi bhi train mein hota hai, main suggest karti hoon ki tum apne samaan par acche se dhyan rakho.
