1. This train has rake (coach) sharing with NMGA-SBC passenger. NMGA pass is always late, sometimes so late that it gets terminated at YPR itself and sent to Salem. Now when it gets late the train can't be used as a connection by intermediate station passengers to go to Hosur to catch 17235 - Nagercoil Express. This is because when it is late it gets looped at BAND station and 17235 which shares the same route as this train from BYPL outer gets the priority and is made to go ahead. After that this train is allowed from BAND and then trails 17235 upto Hosur. So better not to rely on this train to go to Hosur.

2. For those wanting seat on this heavy rush train, go to YPR and buy 2 tickets. 1 from YPR to SBC and one from YPR to wherever you want to go on this train. When this train arrives on PF 3 at YPR from NMGA, board the train. Then go to SBC, there be seated. This train again will return back to YPR as an empty rake to go to Salem.
