*Double line rail traffic starts from Neemuch to Harkia khal*

Following the completion of the first phase of the much-awaited double-line rail line from Neemuch to Ratlam under the Ratlam Railway Division, a team of officials inspected and gave an ‘okay’ report today. Meanwhile, the CRS has issued immediate permission to start traffic on the new line. Following this, the railway administration started operating passenger trains from Ratlam to Udaipur on the new line, formally starting operations on both lines.

It is noteworthy that the double-line track on the Chittorgarh-Ratlam rail section has been completed from Chittorgarh to Neemuch. Passenger trains have been running on both tracks from Dhoswas to Bhayla Chaurasi on the Ratlam side. The railways have now set a target to bring the double line to Jawara soon, which is expected to provide new facilities to passengers in the near future.

New Media Representative Rameshwar Farqia has appealed to the Prime Minister’s Office, Railway Board, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, other public representatives, and others through social media to ensure that the railway completes the double line work from Harkia khal to Pipliyamand or Mandsaur, and starts the new line after block completion, so that there is minimal inconvenience to passengers. He also thanked the railway administration for providing new line facilities while maintaining passenger convenience.
