Since Mahakumbh is next year and NR got good lecturing from RB due to Prayagraj related project delays, I'm expecting all of their focus will be on this route and Janghai to Phaphamau will probably be completed in a haste, like they did last year with Ayodhya.

Atleast Charminar/Sambar SF will be dedicated to chennai. Anyways KCG CGL/PDY is mostly being used by Tirupathi Travelers Rather chennai pax. this will create alternative for NCJ pax for TPTY also.

Nice idea but mbnr -Krnt route will loss dedicated Chennai train .already extension to pdy made some loss .already we have kcg ncj express operated by SR better to make it daily .and extension to ncj means train need another rake .I think 2 rakes not enough to run 1500kms and kcg ncj was weekly exp and don't even have rsa also .
but the route Of NCJ KCG NCJ weekly need to be re-routed via VM

that would be great if they re-route it via TJ, MV,Cuddalore, VM,TNM,KPD and atleast making it a 4 Day weekly by joining additional rake to it and the current operational rake lies idle for 4 days at NCJ.

My suggestion would be 4 days a week from Madurai morning dep to KCG via Trichy Tanjavur, villupuram, Tiruvanamalai Katpadi Reniginta Kurnool to KCG reaching at 900. Return at 1600. Another 4 days a week from Nagercoil morning dep Madurai Trichy Vriddachalam Tiruvanamalai Katpadi Renigunta Raichur upto Lingampalli or Secunderabad morning arrival. Maintainance should be takenup by SR. The present weekly NGL KCG can be cancelled.

Rather than Tata and Bam they could have thought for Hatia and puri
They are only 6 passengers as they allocate 473 seats out of 478 seats rest TTE or others. Bhubaneswar Visakhapatnam too operates with less occupancy better operate triweekly Vskp and triweekly BBS Tatanagar and save 2 rakes. It's matter of prestige and ego for RM and MP if train is canceled or stops not provided and so do the press who poke without actual facts and figures and requiremnt of people of that region. Today morning in one of the news telugu news channels quoted that BBS Vskp and Durg Vskp are run due to demand of respective Chief Ministers and their MPs though there is no demand from Visakhapatnam representatives side.
Hatia Puri is not possible journey time wise. can be run from Hatia to BBS.

Is liye Hatia - Puri ya Ranchi - Puri bhi hoti to via Kendujhargarh hi proposal banta uska bhi. Phir route long ho jaata. Phir dusre route k trains se kam time mein nahin pahucha pata, proposal fail ho jaata. Its original proposal was from Tatanagar to Puri. Ranchi - Kendujhargarh VB to abhi bhi chal sakti hai.
