This will not be of any use to pilgrims of Tiruvannamalai. Only locals who go to Avadi Ambattur will be helpful. Chennai bus is more faster with 4-5 hrs.
Exactly, bus travel time is just 4 hrs and it is available every 10 mins.
SR should restore the Tambaram-Tiruvannamalai daytime train as a express with 4hr TT in order to provide proper, better travel option.
Look at the Arrival and departure timings, nothing to say.

Trains being cancelled for 4 weeks in summer holiday season what a planning by SCR officials. This train is running with good occupancy 80-100% though it runs to Tier - 1 city to towns.
What is the status of rakes of MTM Tirupati/Kurnool spls. Are they still there or scraped( scratch rakes). Even MTM KRNT used to have satisfactory occupancy of 80%. Running a train in B routes with 830 berth capacity 10SL 2 AC coaches is not a small thing.
