Any update regarding new train service between TBM-RMM. Is it normal SF train or VB?
Looks more biweekly or trweekly to cater new route via, pattukottai (sc to rmm spl route)

Really Neat and Clean Railway Station, with good connectivity to Berhampore city (via Khagra Bridge) annd other hinterlands by decent roads. Albeit 'have always been miffed by its really awkward construction of Platform No.1, with two adjoined platforms for a single track (seen usually in busy terminals like SDAH, CSMT, Churchgate, but makes no sense here). Ideally they could push back Platform No.1 with one more Railway track (yes this would involve pulling down the old ghetto-like station building and the FOB in lieu of new ones), so that there can be 5 platforms - With the new Platform No.1, KGLE be made into an alternate terminating station for short distance MEMU passengers/locals. This would help ease pressure somewhat at AZ as well. Just like how BPC would be the gateway to Sealdah/RHA bound passengers, KGLE could become the gateway to HWH/KWAE/BDC/BWN bound passengers (without additional load of passengers from AZ...

Obviously. I have heard from many people, including my father that bus syndicate is opposing train increase on this route. But we are trying on behalf of Murshidabad District Railway Passenger Association. I would like to meet you personally.
Passengers in this region do (or rather - DID) have a senior leader like Adhir Ranjan Babu to reach out to in order to draw his attention over such dire everyday issues faced by thousands of commuters daily. Entire passengers' forum could visit the hon'ble Ex-MP and work towards quick resolution.
Sadly it may yield little impact as of today, as people of this region considered it wiser to elect an outsider "son of the soil" from Gujarat (with perhaps immense knowledge whether be it about politics or the demography and...
