लखनऊ, जेएनएन। मेट्रो का विस्तार जैसे-जैसे होता जाएगा, लोगों की सुविधाओं का ध्यान रखते हुए लखनऊ मेट्रो काउंटर पर सुविधाएं भी बढ़ाएगा। वर्तमान में सिर्फ आठ मेट्रो स्टेशन पर गृहकर व बीएसएनएल के बिल जमा कर सकते हैं, फरवरी 2019 से यह सुविधा चौधरी चरण सिंह से मुंशी पुलिया मेट्रो स्टेशन तक मिलेगी। इससे लाखों लोगों को ई-सुविधा केंद्र व कस्टमर केयर सेंटर जाने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। नार्थ साउथ कॉरिडोर के अंतर्गत बीस मेट्रो स्टेशन हैं। गृहकर जमा करने वालों को या तो जोनल कार्यालय जाना पड़ता है या फिर ई-सुविधा केंद्र। अब उनके सामने मेट्रो स्टेशन का विकल्प रहेगा। मेट्रो के गो स्मार्ट कार्ड का लाभ उठाते हुए वह काउंटर व सेल्फ भी बिल जमा कर सकेंगे।
करना पड़ेगा छुट्टी का इंतजार
अभी नौकरी पेशा वालों को छुट्टी का इंतजार करना पड़ता है, फिर वह बिजली, फोन व मोबाइल का बिल जमा करते हैं। अब मेट्रो से आफिस जाते वक्त दो मिनट में यह काम भी निपटा सकेंगे। इसका सबसे ज्यादा लाभ सचिवालय, हजरतगंज, लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय, बादशाह नगर, आरएस मिश्रा, चारबाग, चौधरी चरण सिंह एयरपोर्ट, आलमबाग बस अड्डे पर यात्री उठा सकेंगे।

There are a few things to note here:
1) Every TSS need not have a neutral section near it. In fact there are many areas (particularly in the Madras and Bombay suburban systems) where there are no neutral sections in the vicinity of the TSS. TSS locations are decided based on traffic considerations, peak load (number of trains using the OHE simultaneously) and also the main electricity grid.
Thus there is no restriction on placing TSS at a junction or any major station.
Rescue locos mostly not necessary. At all neutral sections, there are 'bypass' switches to allow powering the entire OHE in the neutral section and beyond by one of the feeders on either side of the substation. In case a loco gets stuck on the neutral section, the Traction Power controller can power up the neutral section after taking the necessary precautions and let the train clear the section.
Rescue locos are required in some cases when neutral sections are come up on gradients (Neutral section locations are very carefully planned to avoid such scenarios, but in some unavoidable situations they will put up a neutral section on a gradient or a speed-restricted area and follow certain precautions). In these cases, even if the TPC powers up the neutral section to let the loco clear the section, due to a gradient, the loco may not be able to start the train. In such cases a rescue loco will have to be provided.
