Was Visakhapatnam Kurnool bullet train an election promise by TDP?
Visakhapatnam Suburban system or Visakhapatnam Kurnool high speed corridor was never a political subject. Only talk is about new zone formation with head quarters at Visakhapatnam. I couldnt understand from where did he got his own agenda. Visakhapatnam Vijayawada Kurnool HSR corridor feasibility came I'm newspapers and socia media but is this proposal from Railway Minstry is a million dollar question which is not verified. How can it be feasible to Kurnool when Hyderabad is the most preferred destination for coastal dts of AP for employment and business being the state capital for 60 years.

I have never heard of such proposals atleast mention of Railways by NDA leaders during polls. Regarding Visakhapatnam Kurnool HSR just think with your senses why is it needed?? and the proposal and news looks like fake propaganda by YCP social media groups to connect 3 cities as they proposed 3 capitals.

Due to landslide between Yedakumeri and Kadagaravalli, all trains running between Subrahmanya Road and Sakleshpur journey commencing from source on 26.07.2024 and 27.07.2024(only Tr No. 16539 and Tr No. 16540) have been diverted/cancelled.

Such permissions are present in automatic block territory, if either the signal is faulty and not changing for a unreasonably long time. The loco pilot in such scenarios can then pass that signal under caution speeds...
However I doubt whether the lines near Bhubaneswar operate as per automatic block, as afaik only the NDLS -DDU section in eastern India is fully under automatic block signalling!

The section is an *auto section* and multiple trains can remain in one line in auto sections. This is as per the laid down operational protocols. No lapses in safety - ECOR clarification regarding the same.

The line from Gopalpatnam to Visakhapatnam station 9km is fully automated block signal system and 4 trains run in a block of 650m each @ 10kmph. It's very common from past 5 years in Vskp. There are certain junctions stations all over IR where automatic block signalling is installed for last 5-10km.
