A funny thing happened with an acquaintance of mine.
She had never boarded a long distance train alone before. She had to go towards Bombay side and had a 3A ticket in Kushinagar Express. Couple of folks went to the local station to drop her off[and personally see her into the train]. Kushinagar arrives at Babhnan before Avadh Express [another Bombay bound train]. Two more I recall out of which one is too common. Two ICEs bound for Gorakhpur leave Lucknow and many passengers board at BNZ station of the city. One goes via main line and other loop line. Till today, despite announcements done multiple times that pax going to X should NOT board this train, people still end up boarding the wrong one.

In such cases the best bet would be to ask some railway employee like a pointsman or a station master.

This issue was totally the passenger carelessness. Other issues like PF change , is understandable.
With population like this train to cater, IR is running many special/passenger trains having just station code in their TB. Some are having 10-12 station code in one small TB with stencil so minute that one needs a telescope to read the numbers..

any one knows if SCoR DPR is approved and when GM is going to be appointed?
I think it's not approved. The leaders of AP want reorganization of Kurdha, Bza divisions. Some leaders want reorganization of Guntakal divison. So all may take year solve.
Then DRM for RGDA division has appointed from 11th Jan, he's also inspected his juridiction
