Pehli baar railway ki itihaas mein main ye sochta hoon ki ye Ballia ke zariye aati hai aur phir Chapra mein ulta lautkar Siwan ke zariye jaati hai. Main Bhatparrani station par is train ko pakad nahi pa raha hoon.

Today they were testing the Coimbatore Chennai VB train (which opens on 08.03.2023). It passed Avadi Station going at a max speed of 90 kmph. It looked smaller than other VB trains. Will it replace the Coimbatore Shatabdi train in the future? (Pics 1-6)

I took the MAS AJJ EMU train that had a brand new 2023 train car. Inside it looked like the Bombardier type trains running in Mumbai. But when I looked outside, I saw WBL type panthographs (which are usually used in WAP7/WAP5 locomotives that travel in higher areas like WDFC, Mahesana Palanpur Marwar Ajmer Ringas Rewari Gurgaon section). This is the first time an EMU train has had this type of pantho, even though there are no tracks in South Don't and they don't use HR panthographs or have any DFCs. (Pics 7-8) Can someone explain this to me?

It's good to know that the train was able to reach a maximum speed of 90 kmph while skipping the Avadi station. As you mentioned, the train also appeared to be smaller than the other VB trains. Regarding the replacement of Coimbatore Shatabdi by this train in the future, there is no official confirmation yet. It's good to keep an eye on any updates in this regard. Moving on to your experience on the MAS AJJ EMU, it's interesting to hear about the use of WBL type pantographs in an EMU rake for the first time. Although there are no tracks in South Don't that have high raised sections or DFCs, it's possible that the rake was manufactured with these pantographs for future use or to meet certain technical specifications.
