The route length of the siding is approximately 11.650 kms. The total track length of the siding including 15 loop lines is approximately 48.00 kms. The NTPC In-plant yard starts from Chainage 3/800 to 7/800 (total length = 4.00 kms) and width of the yard is approximately 400 mtrs which is having 23 lines yard and in Stage-I, 15 loop lines will be constructed but Earthwork will be done for 23 lines yard. Maximum Earthwork of this siding is coming in this In-plant yard with maximum cutting depth of approximately 10 mtrs and maximum filling of approximately 14 mtrs and this may vary. complete details can be looked into this link @ click here Source: Google
Yup i think they did two sidings as one for frieghts entering from Bijapur side over elevated curvy siding and another in construction for freights coming from Gadag side to enter plant. But even they may use on as enterance and another one as exit of freight rakes.

was going through post for this train. Some members have posted regarding only 6 seats for this class!! Pls help. 1. Can anyone pls pls povide a picture / seat map diagram for this class in this train. 2. Is this FC caoch same as sml klk express? 3. Will there be rush of people in FC also? Finally..... DLMW made TATANAGAR WAP7 39011 arrived at TATA. A small recap of my Journey to TATA. I last visited TATA relatives in September so it was nearly around 3 months I last visited. Yesterday we had a Pre Christmas Programme so I reached home very late and fell asleep. I had to get up at 3:50 in the morning, get ready and avail some bus by 5 am to reach Howrah latest by 6 am to avail Ispat. Alarm was set at 3:45 but when I woke up I saw it was 5:11 already. So immediately brushed my teeth and got ready for the station. Howrah at 6:20 am. If my reservation was made in BBN Janshatabdi I would surely miss it but was lucky to book in Ispat. Now I had a plan that to visit ELS/ETS at TATA to have some glimpses of some WAP7 37XXX but it was my sheer luck that when Ispat was waiting at TATA outer Vikas informed me that 39011 is at the station. I was waiting the signal to be yellow so Ispat reaches before 39011 goes somewhere else. When I get off Vikas was there at the PF for me and then we both went to meet 39011. So after a hasty start everything ended well. My first meeting with Vikas after several attempts and getting to see 39011. It is very cold here at Jamshedpur plus raining heavily. See picture 2 you will understand how much it was and still raining here. Some other pictures as well. Steel Express was late at KGP by more than 20 minutes it was with SRC WAP 7 30601 and one Antyodaya EOG. Some WAG9Hi of TATA with freight at TATA outer.

Initially just required one demu now which can decongest Express trains Reserved class coaches as lot of seasonal pass holders travel in these coaches from Gadag to Hubli in haripriya ,Amravati,Hampi,Amaravti(17726) exp daily. and their is Only one pass train morning that also get late to reach UBL as it made to wait at UBL outer often for PF constraints at UBL early morning so ppl prefer Exp trains to reach early.If they start DEMU like at 7am early morning and reach UBL atleast at 8.10/8.15am then it will be helpful for all season pass holders..
At Evening they have DWR-SUR pass train depart DWR at 5.45pm and arrive UBL at 6.30pm and GDG at 8.15/8.30pm which is enough for pax but need some more coaches as it will be full from Hubli-Annigeri as lot of Labours use this train to come back Annigeri.
Their is one train BZA-UBL pass which arrive GDG on early morning at 3.30am which was used to stop for one-half an hours at GDG as many railway departmental ppl use to travel in that train to reach their offices early morning. Some ppl took railway quarters at GDG and their work at Hubli divisional office and some other offices so for such ppl railways made that convinient timing but after its RSA with UBL-SBC train they making train to reach UBL early and it became uncomfortable for ppl but now they using SC-UBL exp which use to arrive GDG Before time around 5.30-5.45am and depart GDG around 6/6.10 to arrive UBL early but not before 7.30am which again delay for office goers but they are adjusting with it..
The track doubling between Tolahunse and Mayakonda is completed and opened for traffic about a week back. But, in the time table of Hubli-Bengaluru trains (under tracks) it is still being shown as 'under construction'. I think it is not yet updated.
