Anshul~ 8064 blog postsMost popular and the only superfast on Mumbai-Chennai Route,12163/64 is a pride for CR. Speed of the train is good,would get late by 40 mins till GTL(Rarely),but slack ensures on time arrival at Pune & Mumbai. The coaches are new(all coaches are of 21st Century) and very well maintained by CR. Even toilets are maintained well. Bedding's given in in 3AC & 2AC is fresh & clean. Pantry of this train is good. Especially the lunch is excellent. 2 Rotis,Panner Subzi,Dal,Rice,Pickle,Dahi,Sweet(Most of the times Gulab Jamun) is served. Food of this train is trustable.
Recommended to travel from Mumbai to Chennai unlike its counterparts.

I just don't know when the PUNE - GTL route will be completely Electrified??? As this is the only line in the CSTM - MAS route which needs to be electrified. Once this is electrified then the electrification of the CSTM - MAS route will be completed.
