*Waiting Rooms : For the bonafide passengers, three types of Waiting Rooms are provided including one Upper Class Waiting Room with AC, Sleeper Class Waiting Room and separate Waiting Room for ladies. Speakers are provided in all the Waiting rooms to listen the announcements made through PA system. Train indicators are also provided in Upper Class & Sleeper Class Waiting Room. A separate toilet for Handicapped passengers is provided in Upper Class Waiting Room. The Waiting Rooms are provided with adequate lights, fans and sitting arrangements.

more... : Well furnished air conditioned room with separate toilet facility is provided adjacent to Station Manager’s office for waiting VIPs including Ministers, MPs etc.
*Drinking Water : Drinking water arrangements are made on all the platforms. Thirteen (13) water coolers are provided for cold drinking water. Specially designed low height water stands are also provided to facilitate Handicapped passengers.
*Toilet & Urinal: General toilet blocks are provided on all the platforms. Bathing facility is available only on PF No.1. For the maintenance and upkeepness the toilet block on PF No.1, 2 & 3 is outsourced. The tariff is as below :-

*Cloak Room : For depositing passenger luggage like Trunks, Suitcases etc. are accepted in locked condition in the Cloak room. The charges are as under :-

*Foot Over Bridge/Ramp/Pathway : Two Foot Over Bridges connecting all the five platforms, Pathway connecting PF No.1 to PF No.2 &3/4 & 5, and a Ramp from Circulating area to main station building is provided to interchange the platforms and to facilitate movement of wheel chair/tri-cycle of Physically challenged Rail users.
*Wheel Chair : Wheel chairs are available with Dy. Station Manager on duty for the use of needy passengers at prescribed charges.
*Licensed Coolies : For the assistance of passengers, licensed coolies are deployed at station. The prescribed Portage charges are as under :-

Signage Signages : Standardized signages with approved colours indicating various offices, waiting rooms, retiring rooms, catering, drinking water, Foot Over Bridge, Wheel Chair, Stretcher etc. are provided on the platform for the guidance of Rail Users.

Information Boards : Train Time Table boards are provided in the concourse and Reservation office. Similarly, other informative boards indicating Passenger Fares, Refund Rules, Cloak Room charges, Retiring Room charges, Collie charges etc. are also exhibited at conspicuous places in the station premises for the guidance of Rail users.
Catering arrangements : Apart from “Jan Ahaar” managed by Railways, additional Tea/Coffee, Vegetarian Food Stall, Milk Stall, Fruit and Fruit Juice Stall run by contractors are provided on platform to meet the food requirements of the passengers.
Other Stalls : In addition to catering stalls, Book stall, Curio stall, STD booth are also provided on platform.
*Automatic Teller Machine : The following banks have provided ATM facility at Solapur station in the circulating area for the benefit of users.

*Parking : Adequate parking area with high Mast lighting arrangement for better illumination is provided in front of station building. Separate lanes are provided for Auto Rickshaw, four wheelers to avoid congestion and traffic jam. Pre-paid booth in coordination with local police is available at station. Parking stand is also provided at prescribed tariff as shown below :-

*Assistance Booth : It is manned by Dy. Station Manager (Comml) round the clock for the assistance and guidance of passengers. A complaint-cum-suggestion book is available with him for the use of rail users.
*Security Arrangements : Personnel of Railway Protection Force and Govt. Railway Police are available at the station. A booth of RPF is provided on PF No.1 which is manned round the clock with CC TV facility. RPF and GRP station are available adjacent to Railway station.
*General Waiting Hall : For passengers holding unreserved tickets a General Waiting Hall with adequate sitting arrangements, lights & fans is provided adjacent to Booking office concourse. In addition sufficient Cover Over Shed with the provision of benches and sitting platforms are also provided on all the five platforms.
*Passenger Grievance : Complaint-cum-suggestion book is available at Dy. Station Manager (Comml), Reservation office, Parcel office, Head TC office and all Ticket Checking staff while performing duties in trains.
