Nellore is the biggest city in the Southern Coastal Region and has started to attract a lot of individuals who are in search of work with the development of Krishnapatnam Port and a lot of investment has come into Nellore and more importantly into the district off late.

Thanks a lot for providing us the figures, this clearly puts things into perspective as to how much more NLR earns when compared to GDR even though GDR is a junction.......i think a lot of people always said that NLR deserves a better treatment by SCR.Just look at the revenue generation of NLR given the fact that majority of the important trains on the BZA - MAS stretch "SKIP" Nellore due to it's proximity to Chennai and inspite of that fact it's able to generate such a high figure.

I think it was a bit of fortune as well as far as GDR goes since the diversion takes you to a place with "Touristic/Pilgrimage" importance and if that was not the case GDR would be just a station without the tag of a junction.

I think as far as OGL goes, the revenue generation could see an uptick if a new line comes into picture towards the interiors like Kandukuru,Kanigiri and others but i guess the best way to improve earnings is massive "INDUSTRIALIZATION" and that's where it has helped NLR.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...
