What "Big" Really Means - UP 4014 sits on track panels in the parking lot of the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona California as it starts it's journey home to Cheyenne Wyoming to join the UP steam fleet. The gentleman in the orange vest is one of the crew that is facilitating the move from the Rail Giants Museum at the fairgrounds to the Metrolink track approximately a mile away. What is truly striking is how large a 4-8-8-4 really is in terms of length, and how small the man is in comparison to this behemoth.
