4.Powrnami girivalam is made by devotees on every full moon day, special buses are operated from MAS,CBE,ED,TPJ,MDU for the occassion.
5.Present temple complex was built by cholas and renovated/extended by Viajayanagara,Tuluva,Sangama rulers.
6.Rajagopura construction was initialized by Krishnadevaraya.
7.Ramana Maharsihi,Arunagirinadhar are always referred with TNM temple.
