Hello Everyone...
I booked for a ticket for myself and others (Reservation from Dharwar to Lingampalli, but boarding in Hubli, as usual)... The train is Kolhapur Express from Kolhapur to Hyderabad.
By mistake I have booked a ticket for my nephew (from Dharwar to LPI, but Boarding FROM DHARWAR).. This is a distance of about 45 min approx. (from Dharwar to Hubli) Will there be any problem? I mean, what if the TTE allots his seat to some others, before the train reaches Hubli??

Changing the Boarding point is allowed till 24 hours prior to departure from the starting station.
Normally the TTE will wait till the next station, but by rule he can allot the berth to next eligible RAC passenger at any time if the passenger found as not joined.
Submit the requisition letter along with e ticket copy and ID proof at PRS counter.
