to londa...bangalore departure 2115, londa arrival
0730am...Saturday evening
get down at londa and have breakfast, freshen up in
waiting room and buy an unreserved ticket for kulem in
11097 pune ernakulam express. board an unreserved coach
(although many board reserved coach as well)...londa
departure 0915, dudhsagar arrival 11am. the train stops
and u get down and trek on tracks through tunnels for a
km to dudhsagar waterfalls. enjoy the beauty of the falls
and spend some time. bath in small falls near by but
please dont go near the falls. its dangerous. now u can
either trek upto kulem or wait for return train. i ll suggest
u trek upto sonalium (3km) from dudhsagar waterfalls and
return to d falls. wait for 12779 vasco nzm goa express. no
ticket counters available so u hv to do this stretch without
ticket. 12779...dudhsagar 5pm, londa 1835hrs...for return
board 16590 rani chennamma express...londa 1950...sbc
0700 and join ur office. to do-
carry umbrella and sports shoes
book tickets atleast 2 weeks in advance
trek upto sonalium and back
take as much of food as possible with you as not many
things available at the falls and whatever available is
overpriced 5times
