Soon a MFC (Multi Functional Complex) shall be constructed at Patiala Station. The site marked for it is the land between the two main cycle/scooter parking areas. Currently the site is housing 2 type-II railway quarters, which RLDA marked them for demolishing. It shall be constructed and developed by RLDA (Rail Land Development Authority). The MFC shall include food court, medicine stores, STD PCOs and other consumer amenities. Though the tender for it was published in June 2013, but RLDA shall re-invoke the tender for the same.
