Munger station building looks large and impressive. While Jamalpur will continue to be a major railhead in the near future, Munger station is going to be eventually bigger. It is a district head quarters and after Ganga bridge, its economy will boom, leading to increased revenue from the station. Eventually, Railways will have to develop it further. Munger will get Rajdhani before Bhagalpur, and it will also get electrified in the next few years (Kiul-MGR-SKG) to shift traffic from Mokama bridge. Munger that was denied a railway line in 1861 when the first long distance railway line was constructed to link Calcutta and Delhi is eventually going to get its due to always deserved.
