Alight here for the beautiful Chalukyan rock sculptures- Fantastically carved out of the rocks, its a beautiful sight to see the art and architecture and it also brings about the interest the rules had in Artts- The caves are beautifully carved out of the rocks and located in Centre of Badami Town about 4 kms from this station. NWKRTC City services connects to the bus stand from where share autos take you to the structures. A must place of visit for history architectural as well as photography lovers
If you want a temple trip, you can visit Banashankari temple located 5 kms away from the Badami main town

Best season is to visit post October and pre-February- also the earlier in the morning the better as scorching sun is boudn to burn your head.
